Tonight's class was on "Understanding The Impact of Fostering or Adopting".
Here is our reaction pic from the night. Notice both of our faces completely broken out. Darn cadbury eggs, why must you have such evil side effects??! No, we're honestly just stressed out with everything. Can't wait until March is over....
Do you see my countdown ticker over there in the column? It's a countdown until I get a life....meaning...when these classes will be over with I'm not even gonna know what to do with my free time I'll suddenly have!

***Wanted to give a big WARNING to all people going through any adoption process=
MAKE COPIES OF EVERYTHING before you hand them in. Thankfully I am neurotic and did this because the agency lost some of our application. Yes, the application that I spent hours filling out was just *poof* gone.....I would have been pissed if I had to refill out all that paperwork, but thankfully I just had to make another copy of it. Phew.

So, oh yeah, back to tonight's class. The main things we learned are that Josh and I need to prepare ourselves for the changes that will occur in our daily lifes/routines and relationships. They made the comparison to a pregnancy when the woman/couple gets 9 months of prep time, where as in our route of adoption, *boom*, there's your kid. So we have technically prepared for the child, but we certainly will need to reevaluate our routines to see how a kid will change things. Definitely going to be a transition period for us.
We have our second home study visit coming up this week or next (if I could ever get ahold of the woman....).
