Tonight was much better. I'm starting to see the end here people!
This is a picture of how we looked when we got home from class. (Argh, I look tired). (Yes, Josh is silly).
Tonight's class was on the topic of grief and loss. Josh and I went in with a different approach after last week's class so I wouldn't need to come home to do punch-the-couch therapy.
Oh yeah, I also scribbled out the following poem during class. That took up some time.
Strike and speed
Children need.
Fight of flee
I can't see.
Trying still
Stronger will.
Masses turn
Self yearn.
Don't forget
Haven't yet.
Know inside
Strong as tide.
Current swept
Baby wept.
Imagine despair
Happens there.
Blank face
Numb grace.
Guilt and grief
wet leaf.
Family wanted
Hope haunted.
End in sight
See the light.
Starts today
Bright ray.
Am I there yet?
Have we met?
Bumps in the road
Kiss the toad.
Weather the storm
House is warm.
In the end
Sincere friend.
Happy hope
End mope.
Time here
Aura clear.
And I'll leave you with the quote that is plastered around the adoption agency we have classes at:
"There will come a time when you believe everything is finished. That will be the beginning." -Louise L'Amour
